Meet Pops. He’s a hard nosed ex special forces llama that has retired to a security job watching a herd of cattle. The little bugger is Maurice, or as Pops refers to him, Junior. He’s a good kid, but sometimes Pops doesn’t think he has his head screwed on right.

Got inspired by someones stuff on the net and wanted to draw some critters. There are several more in the 2d gallery.

I got a chance to work on a fun contract recently. I was contacted to design a product from start to finish. You can get a feeling for the process in the following image.

I don’t get to do a lot of print right now. I have enjoyed the little I’ve done. I haven’t bothered posting the banners and stuff for the events. They’re usually very simple.

I haven’t picked up anything artistic for a while. Man, I get rusty so quick and it takes a while to begin to warm up. I added a couple sketches to the gallery. The crow is really the only one worth looking at though.

I’ve never tried to really draw a bird, the feathers are a pain. I tried to add some color and ended up jacking up. Oh well, it was just a warm up. Lisha (my wife) loves crows, maybe I’ll do some real studies on some decent paper.
